Avery Gaul
Resident in Counseling
I’m a mental health therapist who believes in creating a space that feels safe, collaborative, and deeply human. I know how vulnerable it can be to open up about your struggles, which is why I strive to meet each client with compassion, curiosity, and genuine respect for their unique story.
-
My clinical approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which means I’ll help you explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment, connect to your core values, and build a life that feels meaningful and authentic.
I have experience supporting clients through challenges like anxiety, depression, family dynamics, self-worth, and navigating life transitions.
Above all, I want our work together to empower you — to help you trust yourself more, show up fully, and cultivate deeper connections with the world around you.
Outside of therapy, you’ll probably find me enjoying time outdoors, trying new recipes, or curled up with a good book. I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey.
-
I support clients navigating:
Anxiety, depression, and feeling overwhelmed
Perfectionism and struggles with self-compassion
Identity exploration and life transitions
Spiritual concerns and religious trauma

Rin Poss
Post Grad Intern
My name is Rin and I am a LPC Resident. I am so honored to work with your sacred story. As a counselor, I create a space for you to grow into a more alive and vibrant version of yourself as you process your experiences, emotions, and beliefs. I want you to leave our time together feeling like there is more goodness in you than you realized and more hope for your future.
“Knowing that we can be loved exactly as we are, is what gives us the best opportunity for growing into the healthiest of people” -Mr. (Fred) Rogers
-
As a trauma focused counselor, I use body-focused and nervous-system informed interventions, mindfulness techniques, and parts work to guide you into a deeper trust of your own experience.
Your symptoms want to be noticed because they point to a deeper wisdom. We will learn that trauma is capable of telling lies about your identity, but you are not broken.
Together we can uncover the greater truth about who you are and what’s possible. I can’t promise a quick fix, but if you feel overwhelmed by life or stuck in the same repeating cycles, we can work together to identify a better path forward.
We may be a good fit if you’re looking to:
· Be kinder towards yourself
· Heal relationships
· feel more empowered
· navigate boundaries
· recover from trauma
